Spot the Difference (“the Game”) is developed and published by MN Studio (“we”,
“us”). This policy explains what data the Game handles, why, and what choices you
have. It covers the Android app with the package name com.mnstudio.spot.differences
distributed on Google Play.
None. The Game has no user accounts, no registration and no server of our own. Your progress — unlocked levels, best times and whether music and sound are on — is stored only on your own device and is never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the Game deletes it.
We, MN Studio, do not receive, store or have access to any personal data that identifies you.
The Game includes three Google services. These services collect data directly; we never see the raw data.
Ads are shown between levels. The Game also offers optional rewarded ads: you can choose to watch one to get a hint or to continue a level after running out of time. According to Google's own published disclosure for the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the SDK collects and shares:
These are used for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Google acts as an independent data controller for this data.
Your choice: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device, and turn on “Delete advertising ID” to stop personalised advertising.
The Game uses Firebase Analytics to understand how it is played — for example, which buttons are tapped, when a level is won or lost and how long it took, and when ads are loaded or shown. Firebase also collects an app-instance identifier, the Advertising ID, device model, operating system version, approximate location derived from your IP address, and app version. We only see aggregated reports; this data is not used to identify you.
If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your device, the Game submits your scores to Play Games leaderboards and unlocks Play Games achievements as you progress. Your Play Games profile is managed by Google, not by us. Signing in is handled entirely by Google Play Services — the Game has no sign-in screen of its own and creates no accounts.
You can manage or delete your Play Games data at myaccount.google.com and in the Google Play Games app.
Spot the Difference is a casual puzzle game suitable for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob.
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — required to load ads, send analytics and reach Play Games services.AD_ID — required by the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Firebase Analytics.VIBRATE, WAKE_LOCK and FOREGROUND_SERVICE — requested by the game engine and Google libraries; the Game keeps the screen awake while you play. The Game does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, photos or files.
Because we hold no data that identifies you, there is nothing for us to delete. Data held by the third parties above is deleted through their own controls:
Uninstalling the Game removes all locally stored progress from your device.
All data transmitted by the third-party services listed above is encrypted in transit using TLS. The Game itself has no server and makes no network connections of its own.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be reflected in the Data safety section of the Game's Google Play listing.
